Laetitia Guilbaud
Laëtitia was born in 1980 in the west coast of France. Since an
early age, she has been sketching imaginary females. In 2003, after an Art degree in Rennes, she decided to paint them on canvas. She mainly works with acrylics and she also likes doing illustrations. From an early abstract and provocative start, Laëtitia’s paintings have evolved into a more colourful image of modern women. She likes to portray confident and sexy women. She is inspired by fashion and Pin-up art and she enjoys depicting them with plenty of character and femininity.
Laëtitia has had mixed exhibitions and solo shows in various galleries across Britain, France and Belgium. She lives and works in Glasgow since 2006.
