Craig Marshall

Craig Marshall BA (Hons) is in his final year in BA Professional Photography at Edinburgh College. He has studied numerous creative fields including Architecture, Illustration and Web Design, before deciding to move to Edinburgh to study photography. Coming to the end of this educational journey he finds that his best work seems to be almost sculptural in form.
This current work is an exploration into combing photography, performance, and music. Influenced by the visual work HR Giger and Max Ernst, and the grotesque and hyper-controlled movements of Butoh transfigured via the minimal textured musical movements of the band Radiohead, to produce a depicting dark, visceral and desolate mutated world.
